Looking for experience and skills to drive your business, brand and programs? You've come to the right place!
I started as chief editor of Industrial Safety & Hygiene News, aka ISHN, as Ronald Reagan threatened to dismantle OSHA in 1980. I’ve reported on the waves hitting the health and safety landscape ever since, covering the Right to Know movement, Bhopal, the asbestos removal fever, safety and health department downsizing in the 1990s, twists and turns at OSHA, the shuttle disasters, the BP explosion, the behavior-based safety explosion, progressing to today’s wearables, mobile apps, analytics, and remote wireless exposure sensing.
Over the years I’ve interviewed hundreds of health and safety professionals, OSHA chiefs, association presidents; written hundreds of articles; and have had more mentors than I can count.
I have a magazine journalism degree from Ohio University and live in Philadelphia.
